COACHING PHILOSOPHY
The VSA Heat want to
bring the techniques and skills of the Brazilian style of training and play
to our team. In Brazil,
indoor soccer is one of the most important tools for building players with
the strong individual skills that are the hallmark of world class players.
It is a system that has produced some of the world’s
greatest soccer players and teams, and the VSA Heat is dedicated to this method of
training, conditioning and play.
In
Brazil, most of the best players come
out of the indoor soccer leagues called "Futebol de Salao" or "Futsal".
Futsal is one of the major reasons why Brazilian players are so skilled,
quick, and fast with the ball on their feet. Recognizing this, the VSA Heat participate in many indoor training
sessions and winter leagues using the same techniques used by Brazilian
teams at their practices. When players learn to work in small spaces
in Futsal, they are surprised to see how much quicker and more skilled they
become outdoors on large fields.

In addition to team
training and coaching, the VSA Heat program also includes individual
skill development to improve our players' techniques and confidence.
We believe that individualized attention and specialized training are very
important to our overall team philosophy. The VSA Heat strives to create a tight-knit and
challenging team environment where players are encouraged to develop their
potential to the fullest while understanding that playing at the highest
level in soccer can only be achieved through hard work and dedication.
